Peggy Klink

Peggy Diane Klink, 69, of Ottawa, KS died Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, KS.

She was born July 23, 1952 in Parsons, KS the daughter of Benjamin and Edythe (Duval) Linn.  She graduated from Cascade High School in Everett, Washington with the class of 1970. 

On March 22, 1997, Peggy was united in marriage with Larry Klink in Williamsburg, Kansas. They shared twenty-four year of love and devotion.

Peggy was a clerk at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center truck shop in Ottawa for 25 years until she retired in 2018.  She was also a hairdresser like her daughter and granddaughter.  Peggy was a member of the Richter United Methodist Church, Richter, KS. She enjoyed travelling, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was always ready to do whatever. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Edith Linn, and a brother, Barry Linn.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Klink of Ottawa, KS; two daughters, Tonya Barnett and her husband, Brent, of Palmdale, CA, and Johanna Pearce and her husband, Jared, of Middleton, ID; a son, Eddie Carter of Bullhead, AZ; a sister, Debbie Michael of Osage City, KS; three brothers, Les Linn of Derby, KS, Gene Linn of Wichita, KS, and Ronnie Linn of Sequim, WA; and seven grandchildren: Shayla Barnett, Cassie Barnett, McKenzie Pearce, Cheyenne Pearce, Dakota Pearce, McKayla Carter, and Mason Carter.

To celebrate Peggy’s life, a memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, 325 S. Hickory, Ottawa, KS 66067.  A visitation will be held prior to the service at 11 a.m. at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Wreaths Across Franklin County and sent c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
