Ramona Branam Obituary

Ramona Gail Branam, 73, of Williamsburg, KS died Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in Overland Park, Kansas.

She was born April 5, 1952, in Holton, Kansas, the daughter of Raymond Spiker and Marjorie (Baldwin) Spiker.  Ramona went to Holton High School and graduated with the class of 1970. 

On September 1, 1970, Ramona was united in marriage to James Branam.  The couple would share over 55 years of loving marriage together.

Ramona worked as a food service professional at the Ottawa University Starbucks. 

Throughout her life she enjoyed reading, crocheting, spending time with her family, and experimenting in the kitchen.

Ramona had an unconditional love for her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Spiker and Marjorie (Baldwin) Spiker and one daughter, Lori Branam. 

She is survived by her husband, James Branam of Williamsburg, KS; one son, Robert Branam of Ottawa, KS; two daughters, Misty Chapman of Ottawa, KS and Michelle Branam of Ottawa, KS; one brother, John Spiker of Topeka, KS; seven grandchildren, Gage, Payton, Issac, Logan, Jace, Jaxson, and Bailea; and two great-grandchildren, Gabrian and Maklin.

There will be a service held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Williamsburg Little Rock Church.
