Rebecca Arlene (Gilmore) Lepley

Rebecca Arlene (Gilmore) Lepley, 66, of Ottawa, Kansas died Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Rock Creek Nursing Home in Ottawa, Kansas.

She was born August 7, 1957 in Ottawa, Kansas the daughter of Benjamin David Gilmore and Maxine (Marcham) Gilmore. 

When Rebecca was young, she worked at Platners Plastics and King Radio.  She enjoyed macramé and beading, puzzles, tie-dyeing, bingo, and listening to classic rock music.

On August 22, 1972, Rebecca was united in marriage to Carl Joe Lepley.  Carl passed away August 3, 2018.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Maxine Gilmore; a daughter, Casey Lepley Ward; a grandson, Raymond Ward; two brothers, Stanley Gilmore and Loren Gilmore; and two sisters, Katherine Jane Parks and Barbara Markus.

She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Brewer and her husband, Chris, of Ottawa, KS; a son-in-law, Mark Ward of Pineville, MO; a brother, Bennie Gilmore of Shawnee Mission, KS; seven grandchildren, Tiffany Blake and her husband, Adam, of Centerton, AR, Dalen Brewer and his partner, Katie, of Ottawa, KS, Kimberly Onorato and her husband, Jordan, of Pineville, MO, Braedon Brewer of Ottawa, KS, Willow Ward of Pineville, MO, Damien Ward of Pineville, MO, and Lily Ward of Pineville, MO; nine great-grandchildren, Michael Lewis, Emilia Lewis, Jo Lee Ward, Juliette Brewer, Loki Onorato, Alex Onorato, Atticus Onorato, David Onorato, and Calhan Blake; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Ottawa, KS.  Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church and sent c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
