Roebecca Sue (Lohman) Askew

Roebecca Sue Askew, 62, of Quenemo, KS passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at her home. She was born March 30, 1962 in Ottawa, KS the daughter of LaVernon Lohman and Sylvia (Denneston) Lohman.  She attended schools in Ottawa.

Roebecca was a lifelong Homemaker and care giver.  She was always there for family and friends to help.  She was a home body in her later years who loved her cat companions.  She always had a love for animals and nature.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LaVernon and Sylvia Lohman. 

Surviving family includes six siblings, Vern Lohman, Ottawa, KS, Cecelia Greenfield, Lawrence, Ks, Alfred Lohman, Topeka, KS, Travis King, Ottawa, KS, Mona Lisa Wheeler, Miles, TX, David Lohman, El Paso, TX; nieces and nephews, Brett Greenfield, Jane Greenfield, Brian Greenfield, Brandon Greenfield, Samantha Greenfield, Dallas Baughn, Steve Lohman, Nathaniel Lohman, Zachary Cook, James Spain, Kimberly Spain; and great nieces and nephews, Bella Hobbs, Sophia Lohman, Jonathan Baughn and Hope Greenfield.. 

To Celebrate Roebecca’s  life, a memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 at the Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, 325 S. Hickory, Ottawa, KS 66067.  Inurnment will follow at the Evergreen Mound Cemetery, Ottawa, KS.  Memorial contributions may be made Roebecca Askew Memorial Fund and sent in c/o the Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
