Ronnie Gene Vohs

Ronnie Gene Vohs, 67, of Paola, Kansas died Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at his home in Paola, KS.

He was born February 13, 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Lester Vohs and Elnora (Morgan) Vohs.  Ronnie lived most of his life in the Paola area, graduating from Paola High School with the class of 1976.

Ronnie was a lifelong Cattleman later obtaining certification as an HVAC technician.  He enjoyed working as a HVAC Technician but his true passion was his cattle.

Ronnie was a thirty year member of the American Angus Association.  He was a handyman and loved to spend time woodworking making all sorts of furniture over the years.  He loved to spend time outdoors and was a hunting and fishing enthusiast.  He was always excited to have people over and fire up his grill for some barbeque.  Most precious to Ronnie was his time that he spent loving on his grandchildren.  They meant the world to him.

On August 5, 1989 Ronnie was united in marriage to Catherine Poto at Block Trinity Lutheran Church, Paola, KS.  They later divorced and then reunited in 2019.

He is survived by Catherine Vohs, Paola, KS; three sons, Brandon Clawson, Osawatomie, KS, Travis Vohs, Osawatomie, KS, Alexander Vohs, Osawatomie, KS; and four grandchildren, Gabe Clawson, Overland Park, KS, Bailey Clawson, Greeley, KS, Kimber and Maverick Vohs, Osawatomie, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Elnora Vohs.
