Shirley Ann (Stewart) Danielson

Shirley Ann Danielson, 86, of Topeka, Kansas passed away peacefully May 28, 2022 at home.

She was born June 8, 1935 in Mayetta, KS, the daughter of David Stewart and Juanita (Anderson) Stewart. She grew up in Mayetta and graduated from Mayetta High School with the class of 1953.

On February 14, 1965 Shirley was united in marriage to Svenbjorn B. Danielson in Topeka, KS.  They shared over fifty years of marriage.

Shirley worked as an insurance adjuster at Hussey & Hussey for many years. Later in life she worked as an assistant at Carbondale State Bank. She loved to cook for her family and always had homemade cookies on hand. She collected porcelain dolls, crocheted, made ceramics and wedding cakes. She gifted many family members and friends with her talented creations. 

She was an active member of Overbrook Bible Church. She loved to sing and worship and often played the guitar for church services.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, David and Juanita Stewart, her husband, Svenbjorn Danielson, and a sister, Vicki Cornelius (Alan).

She is survived by her seven children, son Bruce Danielson (Laura), Topeka, KS, son Ricky Danielson, Topeka, KS, daughter Deanna Danielson (Denise), Arizona, daughter Toni Danielson, Topeka, KS, son Kevin Danielson, California, daughter Audrey Danielson (Chuck), Eskridge, KS, and son Bjorn Danielson (Staci), Gardner, KS; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patty Pasley (Clyde) and Judy Foga (Dennis); and five brothers, Keith Stewart (Lea), Larry Stewart (Dianna), Glen Stewart (Joan), Tommy Stewart (Kaye), and David Stewart (Lou).

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the Overbrook Bible Church, Overbrook, KS. The family will greet friends at the church prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Overbrook Bible Church sent in c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
