Shirley June Perrin, 94, of Baldwin City, KS died Wednesday May 27, 2026 in Baldwin City, Kansas.
She was born June 25, 1931 in Bell County,Texas the daughter of Virgil Cecil McCasland and Annie (Hitchcock) McCasland. Shirley would go on to graduate from Georgetown High School before attending the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and Tarleton State University where she obtained a Masters of Education. Shirley would then live in Carlton,Texas and Stephenville, Texas for many years until 2023 when she moved to Baldwin City, KS.
Shirley June was united in marriage to Charles Robert Perrin. The couple shared 62 loving years of marriage before “Bobby" passed away in 2013.
She was an English teacher for high schools, a job she truly loved.
Shirley was a proud pastor's wife and member of several Southern Baptist Churches, including Carlton Baptist Church of Carlton, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Cecil McCasland and Annie (Hitchcock) McCasland; her loving husband, Charles Robert Perrin; one daughter, Rebecca Gail Norris; and one grandchild, Charles Norris.
Shirley is survived by one son, Mark Perrin of Eudora, KS; one sister, Rita Speyer; and three grandchildren, Valerie Yuhas, Courtney Perrin, and Melanie Salge.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date. Shirley will be interred at Carlton Cemetery in Carlton, Texas. Condolences may be sent to the family through www.lamb-roberts.com.
