Shirly Joyce

Shirly Ann Joyce, age 72, of Richmond, KS, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. She was born September 21, 1947 in Montgomery, AL the daughter of Edward A. Aslin and Winifred L. Eells. Shirly grew up in Edwardsville Kansas and lived in the Kansas City area until 1973 when she moved to Florida for a short period of time. She permanently moved to the Richmond area in 1982 where she met and later married Thomas Joyce. He preceded her in death in 2014. She is also preceded in death by her parents; son Gerald Greenwell; brother, Steven Aslin; and a sister Lois Jean Applegate. Shirly is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Moore, Ottawa, KS; a sister Nola Jenzen, Florida; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a niece Summer Young, Florida. Private family services will be held at a later date, after restrictions are lifted.
