Travis Franks

Travis Wayne Franks, 52, of Ottawa, KS died Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas.

He was born August 26, 1970 in Ottawa, Kansas the son of George Robert Franks and Juanita Marie Robinson.  He was a lifelong Ottawa resident graduating from Ottawa High School with the class of 1989. 

On June 7, 2007, Travis was united in marriage to Daniel Allen.  They spent 14 loving years of marriage together until Daniel’s passing on August 12, 2021.

Travis worked as a clerk at Conoco and currently at Zarco Phillips 66 in Ottawa.  He also worked at a hotel in Ottawa in the past.

He was preceded in death by his husband, Daniel Allen.

He is survived by his parents, Juanita Robinson and her husband, Sylvester, of Ottawa, KS, and George Franks and his wife, Libby, of Ottawa, KS; a step-sister, Lenora Lucille Higgins of Texas; a daughter, Dominique Franks of Nevada; a brother, Jarod Franks of Ottawa, KS; and cousins, aunts, and uncles.
