Vicki Lynn Maichel

Vicki Lynn Maichel passed away in Baldwin City, Kansas on August 28. She was born November 3, 1954 in Ottawa, Kansas to Merle L. Maichel and Shirley D. (Spillman) Maichel. Vicki grew up in Baldwin City and graduated from Baldwin City High School in 1972.  She went on to play semi-professional softball.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Rex Eugene Maichel and nephew William Gregory Davis.

She is survived by her sisters Shelly (Dave) Davis, Lawrence; Theresa (Ken) Vervynck, Baldwin City; her niece Miranda Davis, Chicago; and her cousin and best friend Michelle Grover-Brown, Overbook.

At the time of her death she resided at The Baldwin Health Care Center, where she cherished her friends and care team.

Family and friends will honor her with a private celebration of her life.
