Vickie Ann Love, 67, of Burlingame, Kansas died Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the Healthcare Resort of Topeka in Topeka, Kansas.
She was born September 9, 1955 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Roger D. Love Sr. and Barbara A. (Duncan) Love. She graduated from Burlingame High School with the class of 1974.
Vickie worked for K-Mart as a manager of the business office and cash office from 1974 until 2002. She then returned to school at Allen County Community College, earning an Associate’s Degree in 2005.
Vickie enjoyed reading, cross-stitch, and other arts and crafts. She enjoyed sewing and making clothes for her nieces. She loved to babysit her nieces and nephews, and they all loved when Aunt Vickie watched them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Barbara Love, and a brother, Roger Love Jr. She is survived by two sisters, Diana Love of Burlingame, KS, and Tammy Havens and her husband, Duane, of Topeka, KS; three brothers, Ron Love of Strong City, KS, Robert Love and his wife, Deb, of Topeka, KS, and Tim Love of Burlingame, KS; 13 nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday December 20, 2022 at the Federated Church of Burlingame in Burlingame, KS. To celebrate Vickie’s life, a visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2022 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, 503 S. Topeka Ave, Burlingame, KS 66413.
