William G Browning

William Gary Browning, age 71 of Ottawa, KS passed away Monday April 18, 2022 at his home.

William was born December 11, 1950 in Zanesville, OH the son of Willard Browning and Daisy Koble. He grew up in the New Lexington, OH area until 1971 when he moved to Ottawa, KS, where he spent the remainder of his life.

William worked for Contour Products as a warehouse production worker for many years.  He later was a bidding agent for Buck Roofing until he retired.

On December 14, 1979, William was united in marriage to Carolyn Dyan Arnold at Ottawa, KS.  In December of 2021 they celebrated their forty-first year of marriage. 

William is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Browning; two sisters, Bonnie Corchran, Betty Batten; and a brother, Jim Browning.

William is survived by a son William Browning, Wellsville, KS; two daughters, Rachel Browning, Ottawa, Jennifer Dennis, New Lexington, OH; two sisters, Nellie White and her husband, Don, Mt. Perry, OH, Patsy Toll, Finley, OH; and five grandchildren, Brianne Northrup, Jordan Dennis, Deja Gragg, Emma Fleming, and Andrew Fleming. 

Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, KS.  The service will be live streamed on the funeral home website for friends wanting to pay their respects.   The family suggest memorials to the William Browning Memorial Fund be sent c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
